Thursday's Wedding Finds

It's been a busy week at Sunshine Daydream Events- bridal gown shopping with a very special bride, meeting with 2013 brides, shopping for awesome vintage finds at local estate sales, and now completely renovating an awesome piece of furniture to incorporate into one of our weddings (before and after photos to come)!

But before I get back to work on our many exciting projects, here are some lovely wedding beauties that I came across that would work perfectly for a gorgeous Wisconsin summer wedding. Everything is very soft and pretty.

Summer Weddings in Wisconsin

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today's thoughts: Wisconsin may be the land of cheese and beer and cows (who doesn't love all 3 of those?) but no one tells you what a fantastic and magical place it is in the summer.  Summer in Wisconsin is the perfect season and location to get married!

Today I wanted to share a few more fun tips  I've come across related to the wedding world that I think would be fitting for a summer wedding in Wisconsin.

Use nature- Hang frames or candles from tree branches

Know your flowers- these are quite lovely

 Wear beautiful and low key attire to go with the natural setting

 Blush colored bridesmaid dresses- perfect accent color to a sunny summer day

 Try an unfrosted cake- a rustic and gorgeous take on wedding cake!

 Play outdoor games- makes cocktail hour more interesting and interactive

 Rustic chic bouquets

And try this everyday: put this in a place you both pass often, and leave a special note telling your fiance/spouse why you love them. 

Sometimes we forget to say it. This will help :)

On that note, go call/text/email/facebook/tweet/face time/iChat your special squeeze and tell them why you love them!

City Hall Nuptials!

Wow.  It's been a while! Sorry for the long lapse in posts! It's been one heck of a busy spring needless to say!

Well, that said, today I am inspired as always, by the people I love in my life. Today, one of my best friends got married in city hall.  Following the ceremony they are treating themselves and their closest family to a  fabulous dinner at a fabulous restaurant.  I love that him and his lovely bride decided on a lovely low key ceremony that was more them then anything else. After all, the big day is about you and your beloved.  Here at Sunshine Daydream Events we remind our brides and grooms of that all the time.

So, today we celebrate some adorable ideas for that simple, low key , city hall ceremony that gets the job done and keeps the hassle away.
