An Accessory Remembered...

So I was sitting at my computer, just about to start typing and the idea for today's blog just popped into my brain! I realized my hands were so cold and that I should make the trip upstairs to get my hand/wrist warmer thingys... and then I thought about gloves and then I thought about the absolutely adorable lace gloves that I just received for a model to wear in a photo shoot that we're doing in a couple weeks... All of these thoughts combined made me realize we just had to do a quick blog on an accessory that was once required for a wedding (almost always a formal affair in the past) and is now enjoying a lovely comeback- especially with our modern vintage brides!

I'll share a few that have caught my eye!

First these beauties from http://www.bhldn.com/.  Can't wait to use them in our New Year's Eve photo shoot!

These are from http://www.bhldn.com/ as well. Made of soft lambskin and embellished with an adorable bow!

Obviously BHLDN has some beautiful choices because here's another sweet little glove we just couldn't resist sharing! Seriously, can one of our brides please wear these?!

You can find these pretty little things at http://shopruche.com/bridal

Are any of you brides are there going to try this wedding trend? We hope so!

Melissa and Jordan: A Third Ward Wedding in Milwaukee, WI

Recently, we were lucky enough to be a part of a fabulous wedding in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  A couple of Manhattan lawyers, Melissa and Jordan chose to hold this lovely affair at a champagne lounge called Cuvee.

Every detail of the event was beautiful and thoughtful including the flowers! Melissa's father grew them in his back yard during this drought stricken summer in Wisconsin and they turned out to be gorgeous and fragrant. Setting up for this wedding was so much fun and we just loved Melissa and Jordan's taste in decor.

Melissa and Jordan were surrounded by amazing friends and family and it warmed our hearts to see what a fun loving and delightful couple they are. They were more than a joy to work with and we couldn't be happier for them. Thanks for having us there to coordinate your big day!

Here are some behind-the-scenes photos for you to enjoy! Courtesy of myself and Made With Love Photography . For more photos of the whole event please visit Anda Marie. Anda was able to cover the whole event in such beautiful detail and is a joy to work with as well.

 Loved the matching robes

 Bling!

Mother of the bride getting ready...

 Just precious

What it looked like before we got to the venue
Vintage style postcards from NYC added just the right touch!
The beautiful Ketubah an the unity candle added to a perfectly personalized ceremony blending both families and their backgrounds.
Again, before we got there to decorate!
And some shots as we put together the tables...

Beef, fish or veggie?

Thanks again Melissa and Jordan for having us and we wish you nothing but happiness and love.

All the best,
